Call for research contributions across the following pivotal areas:

• AI, IoT, and Big Data for Enhanced Operations and Predictive Maintenance: Exploring how data analytics can optimize fleet performance, enable intelligent energy management, and establish proactive maintenance regimes to minimize downtime and costs.

• Smart Ports, Logistics, and Supply Chain Optimization: Developing integrated digital solutions (such as Port Community Systems, automated terminals, and e-logistics platforms) essential for conquering port congestion, streamlining trade, and enhancing overall supply chain transparency.

• Cybersecurity in Maritime Systems and Infrastructure: Addressing the foundational need for robust defense architectures to protect interconnected vessels, ports, and critical national infrastructure from escalating cyber threats in an increasingly digitized operating environment.

• Autonomous Vessels and Remote Operations: Investigating the design, regulatory frameworks, safety implications, and operational feasibility of unmanned or remotely managed ships, charting a course for safer and more efficient deep-sea navigation.
